STUDIES IN WHITE, Saturday Jan 16 at Counter Balance Park

STUDIES IN WHITE EXPERIMENTAL ARTIST WORKING IN MOVEMENT & PERFORMANCE Studies in White is an independent, full-day, event in Seattle. It takes place 9AM–9PM on Saturday 16 January 2010 at COUNTERBALANCE PARK in Lower Queen Anne. Artists will present studies lasting between half an hour and 4 hours in length. Counterbalance Park in an open urban area—clean, sparse and expansive. Artists presenting studies include A. K. Mimi Allin, Danae' Clark, Vanessa Dewolf, Lainne Dexter, Kate Freeman, Rudy Harper, Joan Laage, & Mylinda Sneed. Studies in White is not an endeavor in finished, choreographed pieces. It is a preparation for something else. Artists did not spend vast amounts of time preparing, but rather envisioned and set into place parameters for a STUDY and are partaking in those studies, publicly.
