Welcome to another installment of Week in Geek, where we know you didnt watch the Golden Globes, but we will let you know who won in any case.

Green Lantern director Martin Campbell has chosen Peter Sarsgaard to play the villain Dr. Hector Hammond, and emotionally troubled scientist with psychic abilities courtesy of a falling meteor.  He has also gone on to say that Sinestro will probably be in the film.  He has denied reports of Jackie Earle Haley being sought after for the lead role as previously reported.  Instead he had let it slip in an interview that he is wanting Mark Strong for the role.

Duncan Jones (David Bowies son and director of Moon) is on the move again, this time making a time travel thriller movie called Source Code.  It will star Michelle Monaghan and Jake Gyllenhaal.  Gyllenhaal plays a soldier who is investigating a terrorist incident and find himself in a body of an unknown commuter living through the train bombing that he is going to investigate so he can find out who is responsible.  Monaghan is a passenger on the train who is romantically involved with Gyllenhaal who helps guide him through time travel and his helps his host body.

Michael Bay says Transformers 3 will have fewer robots and less explosions.  And presumably more Megan Fox

Stephen Norrington (upcoming blade reboot) is going to write and direct The Lost Patrol.  The story is being desribed a supernatural thriller set in the backdrop of WW2

Conan director Marcus Nispel, has narrowed down his 3 choices to play Conan in the upcoming movie.  They are Kellan Lutz (Emmett Cullen in Twillight), Jason Momoa (Ronan Dex in Stargate: Atlantis), and an unnamed third bigger actor who is one of Jared Padelecki, Karl Urban, Travis Van Winkle, Jay Tavare or Derek Mears

Pee Wee Herman is back. Paul Rubens (Herman) has been doing a live action Pee Wees Playhouse at Club Nokia in Los Angeles.  At the end of one of his plays he spoke to some news reporters and said that they will be working on a Pee Wee’s playhouse movie and wants Tim Burton to direct.
